Do you have an inner sanctuary? A quiet place within yourself where you can rest, become still, and simply be. Some people already know this place well. If you do, that is a beautiful gift and you may not need this course. But if that inner place feels distant, or if you would like to deepen and strengthen it, you are warmly welcome. With gentle practice, an inner sanctuary becomes more than somewhere we retreat to. It becomes a way of being a steady calm within, where heart and mind are in balance. From this place, we begin to meet life differently. Challenges are easier to face. Stress loosens its grip. There is more space, more clarity, and often more kindness both for ourselves and others. At the heart of this journey is learning to reconnect with the wisdom of the heart, while bringing it into harmony with the clarity of the mind. The Course This online course consists of 12 sessions over 3 months, meeting in a small group once a week for 1 hour. Together we will explore six essential themes, each deepened over two sessions, with guided practices, reflections, and sharing: 1. Stillness What is stillness and how to practice stillness meditation 2. Open Heart Meditation Cultivating openness, warmth, and inner connection 3. Mirror Image Understanding how the world often reflects our inner state 4. Unconditional Love Exploring what unconditional love is — and what may stand in its way 5. Gratitude Gratitude as a path beyond victim mentality 6. Altruism & Integrity The quiet strength of living with kindness and authenticity Like any meaningful path, cultivating an inner sanctuary takes practice and patience. But over time, it can bring deep rewards: • Greater peace • Less stress • More joy • A clearer sense of who you truly are • A deeper connection with life Certificate Participants who complete the 3-month course will receive a Certificate in Inner Century Course 103 by, established by The Shen Academy, suitable for inclusion in a CV, recognizing training in mindfulness, emotional resilience, and personal development. Your Guide The course is guided by Lyell Parry, an experienced guide with over 50 years of practice including Inner Peace Movement, Shiatsu, Dao and Qi‑Gong. You are warmly invited to join this gentle three‑month journey and discover your inner sanctuary. The course fee must be paid no later than 10 days before the course begins.
