This encourages adaptability and acceptance of change. Wu Wei (Effortless Action): This doesn’t mean doing nothing, but rather acting without unnecessary struggle or ego-driven force. It’s about working with circumstances, not against them, to achieve results with less friction. Simplicity and Humility: Leading from behind. He taught that true strength often lies in softness, humility, and knowing when to step back. Leadership through Service: A good leader, according to Lao Tzu, leads by example, serves the people, and remains unseen in their success, empowering others rather than seeking glory. Balance of Opposites (Yin and Yang): Understanding that opposites (light/dark, strong/weak) are interconnected and necessary for balance helps in navigating life’s complexities with wisdom.
